Process

Our own search process

Membership in the World Search Alliance is by invitation only and open to small and mid-sized independent search firms. The process is a straightforward but stringent one. Here is how it works:

• Contact the Regional Director in your area for introductory information and initial discussion.
• The Regional Director will send you the link to our online membership application form.
• When received, the Regional Director then arranges a site visit. (This may occur prior to the application form submission in some instances).
• If the meeting proves satisfactory from both sides, the Regional Director then asks for three client references plus biographies on all working consultants.
• Once received and if satisfied with these, the Regional Director proposes the firm to the regional members.
• If 75 per cent of the regional members are in favour, the Regional Director then recommends membership endorsement of the new firm to the Executive Committee.
• The new firm is then personally welcomed by the Chair.
• Should you be granted membership part way through the year, membership dues will be pro-rated accordingly.
• All new members are asked to give a short presentation at the next Annual General Meeting to introduce themselves to all members.
